Dear participants, guests, and partners of the International Scientific and Practical Conference!

On behalf of the Center for Forensic Expertise of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan, I welcome you to the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Forensic Expertise in the System of Justice: Challenges and Prospects.”

The holding of this event is of particular significance in the context of the dynamic development of science, technology, and forensic expert activity. The modern justice system requires highly qualified expert support, the introduction of new research methods, and the strengthening of interagency and international cooperation.

The conference provides a unique platform for the exchange of experience, discussion of pressing issues, development of unified approaches, and advancement of professional dialogue between the expert community, law enforcement agencies, scientific institutions, and international partners.

I am confident that constructive discussions, presented reports, and joint initiatives will contribute to improving the quality of forensic examinations, strengthening trust in the results of expert research, and enhancing the justice system as a whole.
